How does the service work?
It’s stress-free and as simple as possible. As soon as your hospital consultant or specialist nurse refers you and receipt of your prescription, we will enter your details into our system. We understand the importance of data privacy and all of your details will be held in line with the Data Protection Legislation. We can deliver to any UK address with your consent.

Our Customer Services Department will contact you regularly regarding your next scheduled delivery and ask additional questions regarding the stock of your medication and if any supplementary medication is required (this is mandatory).  If sharp bins need disposing of when delivery is made this will also be made available.
What is IVF?
IVF was developed in the 1970s and the process remains very much the same to this day:

  • The woman takes fertility drugs to help her produce more eggs
  • The eggs are harvested and fertilised in the laboratory
  • The woman is given hormone drugs to prepare her womb to receive the fertilised eggs
  • The fertilised eggs are placed inside the womb and a normal pregnancy follows.
  • IVF techniques can differ from clinic to clinic, often depending on your individual circumstances.

Find out how a typical example of treatment can be carried out on our IVF & Fertility page.

An IVF (in vitro fertilisation) medication cycle consists of different medications or fertility drugs that stimulate the body to promote pregnancy using IVF.

The particulars of the cycle are decided by a specialist physician.

To find out more about some of the most widely used fertility drugs see our IVF Drugs page.
