Our Commitment to Accessibility

Personal Homecare Pharmacy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities across our website, portals and mobile applications. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

Technical Specification

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly. We also endeavour to make the site accessible to users using a variety of accessibility devices such as screen readers and keyboard input.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. In addition we also exceed this in some cases and are working towards Level AAA success criteria. Because the site is constantly in development, some areas may not consistently reflect adherence to this standard. We are working towards it and will do whatever we can to adhere.

Testing

We follow strict guidelines in our testing approach. These include, but are not limited to functional testing, compatibility testing, security testing, penetration testing and performance testing. Our approach is industry leading, and a heavy focus is placed on user experience. Sometimes a known issue is released, this will be small and affect very few users.
